See File:Denys arms on the Denys funerary brass, Saint Mary the Virgin, Olveston, Gloucestershire, England - 20090920.jpg You can make subjective claims about which version is "better", but we have a long-established policy of not deleting "superseded" images and there is also the factor that many of the historical versions of these arms look much more like the version you denigrate here and not the "improved" version.
